Finance Assistant
Full-time (37.5 hours a week) temporary role for 6 months
Salary £24,570 pa
Office-based role in the HfC building (Truro)
We’re looking for a keen and methodical Finance Assistant to join our small Finance Team. Our ideal candidate will excel at doing the numbers – so that our organisation can deliver its cultural goals. Relishing the opportunity to advance your accounting knowledge in a charity environment you’ll be working on purchase, sales, and nominal ledger transactions while gaining knowledge of charity VAT scenarios and the technical accounting aspects of our stage programme to add additional strength in depth to our experienced Finance Team.
Who we’re looking for, ideally someone who is…
- Methodical and numerate, with great attention to detail
- Confident in working to tight deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
