Hall for Cornwall strengthens senior team with appointment of
Jack Morrison

Jack Morrison has been announced as Deputy Theatre Manager, as Hall for Cornwall (HfC) continues to strengthen the team which operates the Cornwall Playhouse.

Jack Morrison joins the Cornwall Playhouse team, led by Theatre Manager Polly Dent, supporting our busy stage programme which sees more than 300 performances each year and audiences of up to 300,000. Previously, Jack has worked with artists and creatives across the region, including Kneehigh Theatre, Eden Project, The Works and most recently Creative Kernow, where he oversaw the FEAST programme.

HfC Chief Executive and Creative Director Julien Boast commented: "I'm glad to welcome Jack to HfC. This is a crucial moment for us, as we look to reward the loyalty of our audiences by continuing to develop and strengthen our team. We're excited to enjoy that really rounded body of experience that Jack brings from across our creative industries."

Jack Morrison commented: "HfC has always been an important place in my life and an iconic venue for our region, the team are top notch. As a proud Cornishman I'm thrilled to be getting stuck in as we work to further-develop the theatre's fabulous reputation, delivering cultural experiences for everyone in Cornwall."

Jack will take up his post in the summer following Glastonbury Festival, where every night he'll be overseeing performances in the Circus Fields.
