One Man, Two Guvnors is the English comedic adaptation of the original Italian play by Carlo Coldoni called Servant of Two Masters. Written by Richard Bean and set in Brighton in 1963, it follows the events which happen to Francis Henshall after he is fired from his band. The play opened at the National Theatre before embarking on a national tour and then opening on the West End in 2011. The play then made its Broadway debut in April 2012. It again embarked on a national revival tour in 2014 and was staged at Hall for Cornwall between the 21st and 25th of October, featuring Gavin Spokes, Norman Pace, Emma Barton and a live band.

Hall for Cornwall staged it’s own production of the Dick Whittington pantomine between the 6th of December and 3rd of January 2015/16. The story follows a young Dick Whittington and his Mousehole cat as he leaves Cornwall in search of riches. The pantomine was produced by Simon Harvey who has directed HfC’s Christmas shows since 2015. The production featured Harry Potter actor Granville Saxton as Alderman Fitzwarren and Cornwall’s very own comedy star Kernow King, otherwise known as Edward Rowe.
