‘Finding Meaning in Movement’ Masterclass with Ockham’s Razor

HfC are delighted to be collaborating with Cirk Hes to offer a Masterclass with Ockham’s Razor- Finding Meaning in Movement.

Venue – Cirk Hes, Helston.

This workshop is suitable for people aged 18+ with an intermediate level of aerial circus or higher.

Ockham’s Razor are one of the UK’s leading circus theatre companies. For the past 20 years they have specialised in using original circus movement to create arresting, visual theatre. They draw stories from the vulnerability, trust and reliance that exist between physical performers.

This masterclass will be delivered by the Artistic Director Alex Harvey.

In the session we will explore a series of playful tasks and prompts to explore new movement. We will look at how to create striking images in circus and how they can be read, ways to interpret the movement of the body and methods and approachesto draw out or adapt meaning.
